Some of our studies investigate how structural changes in the brain are linked to alterations in self-awareness. In particular, processes such as anosognosia, error monitoring, metacognition and emotional regulation are explored in people with dementia, epilepsy and brain tumors. Selfhood in dementia is another topic of our research.
